CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Vandy J. “Jerry” Johnston, 52, of Georgetown, Tenn., formerly of Natchez, died Saturday, June 26, 2010, in Russell County, Va.

No services have been scheduled at this time.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home & Crematory in Cleveland, Tenn.

Mr. Johnston was a construction contractor with Shaw Industries in Bristol, Va. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Vidalia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Marjorie Johnston.

Survivors include his wife, Melodye Johnston; four children, Travis Reasner of Georgetown, Van Johnston of Richland, Wash., Brandi Schwabaur of Honolulu, Hawaii and Kay Harris of Comanche, Texas; one grandchild; two sisters, Margaret Wagoner of Natchez and Susan Johnston of Shawnee, Okla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
