ROXIE — Services for Laura Lee Harris, 79, of Roxie, who died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at Hospice Ministry, will be at noon Sunday at Roxie First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lamar Briggs officiating.

Burial will follow at Hidgon Community Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

Mrs. Harris was born Nov. 4, 1932, in Hazlehurst, the daughter of Haney and Matilda Swem Collins. He was a member of the Heroines of Jericho.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, B.L. Harris; one daughter, Magelene Dabney; and two sisters, Rosann Williams and Alica E. Murray.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Jackson and Martha McClain; one son, David Collins; three sisters, Carrie C. Walker, Sarah Burnett and Mae-tilea Cornish; one brother, Haney Collins Jr.; six grandchildren; one goddaughter, Ayana Puckett; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
