HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. — Services for Toni Jill Bertolet Henthorn, 50, of Littleton, Colo., who died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, as the result of a tragic accident in the Rocky Mountain State Park, will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch, Colo.
Arrangements are under the direction of Horan & McConaty Funeral Service & Cremation, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, CO 80122.
A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Jackson, Thursday, Oct. 19, 2012, time to be announced at a later date.
Mrs. Henthorn was born Jan. 10, 1962, in Jackson, the daughter of Bob and Yvonne Bertolet. She was a faithful Christian, loving wife and mother, thoughtful daughter and sister and an incredibly skilled physician. She was married to Harold Henthorn on Sept. 30, 2000, and had one beautiful daughter, Haley, age 7.
Toni graduated from Trinity High School in 1980, with honors and magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi Medical School in 1988, and has worked for Associates in Eyecare in Denver as a surgical and cosmetic ophthalmologist. She was awarded a place in America’s Top Ophthalmologists by the Consumer Research Council in 2006.
Toni attended and taught Sunday school at Cherry Hills Community Church. She was an accomplished pianist and had a beautiful voice singing in several church choirs. She shared her faith in Christ through her insightful contributions to Got Questions.org on a regular basis. Harold, Toni and Haley also enjoyed golfing, snowshoeing and hiking.
Toni is survived by her husband and one daughter of Littleton, Colo.; her parents, Bob and Yvonne Bertolet of Ridgeland; and two brothers, Barry Bertolet and wife, Paula, of Tupelo and Todd Bertolet and wife, Rhonda, of Ridgeland.
