Make a difference with United Way

Are you ready to help make a difference? The United Way of the Miss-Lou is in the midst of its annual community campaign – a two-month drive that generates more than $300,000 for nearly two dozen community agencies.
The annual campaign, which asks for donations and support from every sector of our community, is one of the best ways each of us can make a difference right here.
A gift to the United Way is a gift to ourselves, our community and our neighbors.
It is a gift that may provide bats and balls for underprivileged youngsters learning the art of baseball and the lessons of good sportsmanship.
Or it may provide emergency housing, clothes and food for a family who lost their home to a fire.
Or it may provide the food that is cooked and delivered each day to scores of elderly shut-ins in the Miss-Lou who, if not for these meals on wheels, may not enjoy a hot meal each day.
And the list could go on.
Simply put, United Way is a tremendous support for dozens of vital and important agencies throughout the Miss-Lou. And, with the United Way’s support attached to the programs, donors can rest assured that each agency has a strong mission, a sound financial plan and clear accounting of how the donations are being used each and every day.
And it doesn’t matter how large or small your gift may be.
The point is, by making a gift you are making difference.
We encourage everyone in the Miss-Lou to rise to the challenge.
