Hounds fall to Tallulah

Tallulah spotted Huntington a 6-0 first-quarter lead, then proved why they are undefeated in defeating the Hounds 28-6 Friday night in a District 6A game.
Tom Terry Milliken scored Huntington’s only points of the game on a 66-yard run in the first quarter. Milliken had 11 carries for 75 yards and completed only seven of 24 passes for 86 yards and two interceptions.
In the second quarter, Tallulah tied the game on an 11-yard run by Jason Noland, who had 27 carries for 189 yards, and took the lead for good later in the quarter as Noland scored on a six-yard run. In the third quarter, Tallulah quarterback Cole Williams hooked up with Matt Paxton for a 57-yard touchdown. Kenneth Clayton had 10 carries for 34 yards.
Huntington dropped to 3-4 overall while Tallulah improved to 7-0 overall.
