Tupper’s team wins pro-am title

Randy Tupper, golf pro at Clear Creek in Vicksburg, and his team of Don McCleery, Ross Partridge and Leonard Brasseaux won the Lady Luck Pro-Am Tuedsay at Beau Pre with a 131.
Golf pros totaling 188 from Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas and Tennessee competed in the tournament.
&uot;We had a great turnout,&uot; said Beau Pre golf pro Mark Powell. &uot;It’s a great event, and everything went real well.&uot;
Finishing second was the team of Robert Jacoby, Steve Walsh, Ware Mayes and Scott Milon at 132.
Jacoby is the golf pro at Quail Hollow in McComb.
Chris Coffin of Brookhaven led his team of Sandra Sojourner, Donnie Daye and John Duchker to third palce.
Chuck Fowler of Monroe, La.’s, Bayou DeSaird led his team of Jerry Pyron, Paul Bynum and Mark Mason to fourth place.
The top pro score was 70 by Leigh Brannan of Deerfield Country Club. Ronny Ross of Wolf Hollow in Wesson was second at 70, while Jeff Jennings of Pine Burr Country Club was third, also at 70.
David Coleman of Beau Pre host a 72 to finish eighth.
Beau Pre hosts the Bud Four-Ball Saturday.
