The skies turned blue, but the leaderboard stayed the same as Scottie Southall and Geoff Callaway retained their first round lead and captured the Budweiser Four-Ball Golf Tournament at Beau Pre Sunday with a 131.

Southall-Callaway shot a first round 64 to lead the championship flight.

The first round was played in a steady mist, but the weather turned pleasant on Sunday.

&uot;It was a great weekend and we got rave reviews,&uot; said Beau Pre Golf Pro Mark Powell. &uot;Everybody loves the golf course. We just have to keep making it better.&uot;

They followed that up with a 67 on Sunday.

The two teams of Rob Smith-Joey Sumrow and Bill Byrne-Greg Brooking tied for second at 135.

Smith and Sumrow followed a 65 with a 70.

Byrne and Brooking had a 67 and 68.

P. Z. Brewer and Bo Lovitt placed fourth at 136, while Grady Hickman and Terrell Beaugouis were at 137.

Howard Jones and Richard Wadsworth shot a 139.

One stroke back of that was the teams of Bubba Kaiser and Richard Criswell and John Germany and Kary Efferson at 140.

Iley Dillon and Lloyd Trisler came in at 146.

Winning the first flight was the team of Benny Bell and Darrell Easley with a 140.

The teams of Brad White and Kenny Owen and Kurt and Chandler Russ were second at 142.

Taking the second flight was Ward Graning and Greg Whitam at 144.

Connie Kanoy and Billy Skates topped the third flight at 149.
