Jefferson Co. wins homecoming

Javari Hughes ran two interceptions as Jefferson County won its homecoming game over North Pike 32-6 in a Division 6-3A game Friday night.
Hughes had interception returns of 10 yards in the first quarter and 25 ayrds in the third quarter.
Adrien Malone caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Londell Eaeochs in the first quarter.
Jefferson County’s Darius Bingham had a 50-yard run in the third quarter and converted on three two-point conversions.
North Pike scored its only points in the fourth quarter.
Jefferson County improved to 1-7 overall and 1-3 in district and will host South Pike next Friday.
