Percy Williams
July 20, 1930 – Oct. 26, 1999
FAYETTE – Services for Percy Williams, 69, of Lorman, who died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at Jefferson County Nursing Home, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, at Mount Isreal Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Tyler officiating.
Burial will be at the Gold Mount Cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Williams was born July 20, 1930, in Jefferson County, the son of Henderson Williams and Pearlie Sanders.
He was a retired farmer with the Alcorn State University Agriculture Department. He was a member of Travelers Baptist Church in Lorman and the Masonic Lodge Rodney Court No. 8.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his mother, Pearlie Sanders; a daughter, Lucille Chambers; a son, James Williams; a grandson, Dewayne Smith; and three brothers, Cornelius Williams, Henderson Williams Jr. and Julius Williams II.
Survivors include his wife, Lettie Williams of Lorman; his father, Henderson Williams of Vicksburg; four sons, Percy Williams Jr., Rickey and Africa Williams, all of Lorman, Madison and Doris Williams of Fayette and Julius and Annette Williams of Lexington; four daughters, Pearlie Williams, Patricia and Willie West Smith, America and Marilyn Williams, all of Lorman; an adopted son, Jarvis Williams of Lorman; two brothers, Herman Williams of Gary, Ind. and Joseph Williams of Minnesota; two sisters, Hester Brown and Hazel Mitchell, both of Vicksburg; an uncle, Gloster Williams of Lorman; two aunts, Sadie Hicks of Whiteville, Tenn. and Ella Alexander of Fresno, Calif.; six brothers-in-law, James Starks, Benny Starks, Johns Starks and Jerome Starks, all of Los Angeles, Richard Starks of Lorman and Issac Starks of Port Gibson; three sisters-in-law, Viola Starks, Mildred Brown and Anna Starks, all of Lorman; twenty-three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers are Calvin Cole, Marcus Walton, Arnold Earl Clark, Keith Winchester, Robert Williams and August Donaldson.
Honorary pallbearers are Rickey Williams, Willie Smith, Madison Williams, Julius Williams, Micheal Wynn, Orlando Williams, Darron Wright and Darryl Willis.
Mary N. Easton
June 1, 1923 – Oct. 26, 1999
Services for Mary N. Easton, 76, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Baptist Church, with the Rev. James E. Lawson officiating.
Visitation is today from 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until time of service at the church.
Mrs. Easton was born June 1, 1923, in Adams County, the daughter of John and Estella Newman.
She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. She later moved to Oakland, Calif. where she became a member of St. Rest Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Easton of Natchez; three brothers, John Newman, Charlie Newman, both of Natchez, and Matt Newman of Vidalia, La.; one sister, Augusta Malbrough of West Lake, La.; seven children, Willie Washington, Nanette Washington, Bessie Washington, Inez Pete, all of Oakland, Etta Jones of Seattle, Carl Easton and Steven Easton, both of Natchez; one daughter-in-law, Mae Ella Washington of Oakland; three sons-in-law, Gilbert Pete Sr., Ike Sanders, both of Oakland, and Sydney Rae Jones of Seattle; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are grandchildren.
Robert Shell
Sept. 10, 1922 – Oct. 25, 1999
Services for Robert Shell, 77, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at his residence, will be at noon Saturday at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ernest Ford officiating.
Processional will leave George F. West Funeral Home at 11:20 a.m.
Burial will be at the Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation is today from 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Shell was born Sept. 10, 1922, in Franklin County, the son of Ralph Shell and Letha Shell.
He was employed by Fleming Body Shop. He was also a member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church.
Survivors include two children, Rita Fleming and Jeffery Shell, both of Natchez; one sister, Victoria Morris of Natchez; a friend, Virginia Holiday of Natchez; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Jeffery Shell, Otis Fleming, Henry James Reed and friends of the family.
Paul L. Storey
Mar. 25, 1930 – Oct. 18, 1999
FRANKLIN COUNTY – Services for Paul L. Storey, 69, of Bude, who died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at his residence, will be at 3 p.m. today, at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church, with the Elder Lonnie Mozingo and Elder John Conley officiating.
Burial will be at the Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation is today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Storey was born Mar. 25, 1999, in Copiah, the son of W.R. Storey and Lillie Souleret Storey.
He was retired from the International Paper Company and a member of Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
Mr. Storey was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; one sister; and a daughter, Nancy.
Survivors include his wife, Louise McAllister Storey of Bude; two daughters, Debra King and Debbie Dendy, both of Meadville; two sons, Robert Storey of Bude and Michael Storey of Meadville; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Alton Storey of Bude.
Pallbearers are Clem Steele, Nelson Causey, Tim Buckley, Bomar McGehee, Rickey King and Winfred Lewis.
Annie Ree Smith Adams

Services for Annie Ree Smith Adams, 84, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, are incomplete at Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Adams was born Mar. 13, 1915, in Picayune, the daughter of Frank Warren and Mae Eva Thomas Smith.
She was a member of Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church and a retired manager for Natchez Public School Cafeteria.
Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include three brothers, Frank Smith, Patrick Smith, both of California and Henry Smith of Live Oak, Fla.; and a number nieces and nephews.
