VIDALIA, La. -&160;Vidalia senior defensive back Adam Probst knew Ferriday High would be coming his way. And he was more than up for the challenge.
Probst had three tackles and six pass break-ups in helping hold Ferriday to 80 yards passing in the Vikings 16-0 win Friday.
&uot;I figured they were coming at me,&uot; Probst said. &uot;Aron (Ferriday quarterback Thomas) told me during the week he was coming after me.&uot;
Probst had excellent position on Ferriday receivers all night.
&uot;I studied their routes all week long,&uot; he said. &uot;I just watched their feet.&160;The first play they came right at me and I broke that up. I figured they would be picking on me.&uot;
Vidalia held Ferriday to 27 yards on the ground.
&uot;Our front four really stepped it up,&uot; said Viking defensive end Rod Donald. &uot;This is one of the better games we had. &uot;We knew we had to put pressure on Aron.&uot;
Leren Curry kept Ferriday bottled up in the middle.
&uot;This is the way you want your regular season to end in your senior year,&uot; he said.
