Jefferson County gets win

Jefferson County finished its season on a winning note with a 20-14 win over Port Gibson in a Division 6-3A game Friday night at Port Gibson.
The Tigers scored twice in the second quarter on an 18-yard pass from Londell Eanochs to Derrick Culbert and a 47-yard fumble recovery by Kendrick January.
Port Gibson scored in the second quarter on a Mason Denham run.
Jefferson County took a 20-6 lead on a six-yard run and two-point conversion by Eanochs.
Port Gibson scored in the fourth quarter on a touchdown catch by Denham to cut the lead to six, but the Blue Waves would not score again.
Darius Dingham led the Tigers with 107 yards rushing.
Jefferson County finished the season at 4-7 overall and 3-3 in division play. Port Gibson finished 2-9 overall, 2-4 in division play.
