Evelyn Anderson of Vidalia, La., was listed in critical but stable condition with a gunshot wound to the neck Sunday night at University Medical Center in Jackson.

Anderson was injured in a shooting Friday night at her home at 335 Eagle Road in Vidalia.

Randy Cavazos, 27, the estranged boyfriend of her granddaughter Kristin Anderson, allegedly shot Anderson and then turned the gun on himself.
