Leah Danielle Adams of Monterey and Christopher Charles Geoghegan of Lake St. John are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Monterey High School and is employed by Big River Broadcasting in Ferriday. She is the daughter of Wanda Tisdale of Ferriday and W.L. Adams of Monterey.

She is the granddaughter of Ann Tisdale of Ferriday and the late Charles Tisdale and the late William L. Adams and Geniece Adams.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and is employed by Jordan, Kaiser and Sessions in Natchez. He is the son of Linda Geoghegan and Billy Geoghegan of Lake St. John.

He is the grandson of the late William and Dorothy Geoghegan of Lake St. John and the late Mr. Jim Vance of Vidalia and Mrs. Betty Moore of Natchez.

A private ceremony will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 in Eureka Springs, Ark.

The couple will live in Ferriday.
