Western Kentucky rolls over So. Miss

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — Antonio Andrews accounted for 136 yards rushing, 74 yards receiving and two touchdowns on Saturday as Western Kentucky rolled to a 42-17 win over Southern Mississippi.
Western Kentucky quarterback Kawaun Jakes threw touchdown passes of 25, 36 and 2 yards. He finished the game 12-for-18 for 173 yards and no interceptions.
The Hilltoppers amassed 560 yards of total offense while playing in front of a crowd of 23,532, the biggest in school history.
Western Kentucky held Southern Miss to 264 yards.
The Hilltoppers scored the game’s first 14 points and scored the next 28 after a Golden Eagles field goal.
Western Kentucky safety Jonathan Dowling was ejected from the game in the third quarter for a hit to the head of Southern Miss receiver Tyre Bracken.
Western Kentucky is 3-1 for the first time since 2007, while Southern Miss is 0-3 for the first time since 1976.
