Centreville man, woman accused of cooking meth

NATCHEZ — A Centreville man and his live-in girlfriend are accused of making methamphetamine at their house.
The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics arrested Adam McKey, 25, and Jennifer Brunet, 25, Tuesday, according to a news release.
Officers also rescued a preschooler from the suspects’ house. The preschooler has since been placed with other family members at the direction of the state Department of Human Services.
McKey is charged with manufacture of methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and child endangerment.
Brunet is charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and child endangerment.
Several meth ingredients, including two pounds of sodium chloride, 25 pounds of ammonium nitrate, a half-gallon of camp fuel and 22 lithium batteries, were seized from the house.
Both McKey and Brunet are being held at the Wilkinson County Jail without bond.
