An afternoon accident on State and Martin Luther King Jr. streets snarled traffic and sent three people to local hospitals with injuries. Two other cars were involved in the accident, a Voyager van driven by Dan Dillard and a Lincoln Continental driven by Thelma Newsome. The accident occured around 2:30 p.m. Dillard and Brown were treated and released from Natchez Community Hospital. Newsome was treated and released from Natchez Regional Medical Center.
