ROXIE — Services for Julius Ray “Butch” Robinson, 50, of Bude who died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Higdon Community Church, in the Kirby community, with the Rev. Luther Bonds officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Mr. Robinson was born June 12, 1962, in Franklin County, the son of Sonny Cameron and Flossie Robinson Covington. He enjoyed racing.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his mother and two sisters, Nolen Green and Louise Bradford.

Survivors include a loving wife, Barbara Collins; his paternal father; his stepfather, A.B. Covington; two sons, Julius Robinson and Brandon Robinson; 10 sisters, Ann Robinson, Gloria Moore, Katie Mae Williams, Barbara Smith, Linda Green, Jessie Cameron, Carolyn Cameron, Brenda King, Terrie Ford and Cody Cameron; three brothers, Rudy Cameron, Aaron Cameron and Peter Gunn; five grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
