James Warnock comforts his wife Kay Tuesday afternoon as he testifies to the Mississippi House Committee on County Affairs. The Warnocks, whose daughter, Casey Schrock, recently lost her life after being hit by a car on Morgantown Road, were testifying in favor of a law allowing sheriff’s departments to use radar devices on county roads. The House county affairs committee voted 9-7 to kill the bill after a provision was included which would only allow the 12 largest counties in the state to use radar.
