Weather roundup: Jeff. Co. moved to Saturday

FAYETTE — Jefferson County High School’s game at Port Gibson High School was the latest to fall victim to Tropical Storm Isaac’s messy aftermath.
Originally scheduled for tonight, the game will now be played at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, according to Tigers head coach James Herrington.
ACCS still on for tonight
According to head coach David King, Adams County Christian School’s game at Riverdale Academy in Coushatta, La., was still scheduled to be played at 7 Friday night.
“They said they are just getting mild rain,” King said in a text message Thursday afternoon.
Centreville on hold
Centreville Academy won’t play tonight, but when — or if — the game will be made up is up in the air right now.
Centreville was set to host Parklane Academy tonight, but Tigers assistant coach Brian Stutzman said they’re hoping to get the game in Saturday morning.
“It’s not a conference game,” Stutzman said. “We’re planning on playing it Saturday, but we haven’t heard back from Parklane.”
Stutzman said Centreville offered to either have the game played at 10 a.m. Saturday or sometime Monday night, but the school would prefer to get the game in this weekend.
WCCA moved to Monday
Wilkinson County Christian Academy was scheduled to have its first home game of the season tonight against Glenbrook School, but head coach David Wright said in a text message that the game was moved to 3 p.m. Monday.
Tensas Academy set to go
According to Tensas Academy head coach Joe Coats, the Chiefs’ home game against Christian Collegiate Academy tonight was still on for 7 p.m. today.
Co-Lin football moved
Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s game against Northeast Mississippi Community College, which was originally scheduled for Thursday night, has been moved to Saturday.
Kickoff at Northeast Mississippi is scheduled for 2 p.m.
