NATCHEZ — Trinity Episcopal Day School’s game was moved to Saturday while other area teams were still in a holding pattern Wednesday afternoon as Hurricane Isaac made its way toward the Miss-Lou.

Trinity Episcopal Day School head coach Josh Loy said in a text message that its game at Bowling Green School in Franklinton, La., was moved to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Jefferson County

Jefferson County High School is scheduled to play at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Port Gibson, but head coach James Herrington said they were still awaiting a final decision.

“We haven’t been contacted by Port Gibson yet,” Herrington said. “It’s possible it will be tomorrow before they know.”

Tensas Academy

The Chiefs are scheduled to host Christian Collegiate Academy at 7 p.m. Friday, and head coach Joe Coats said he’s heard no changes to that plan as of Wednesday.

“As far as we know, they’re going to try and get up here,” Coats said. “We’ll have to wait and see, but we expect to play the game.”

Adams County Christian School

ACCS head coach David King said in a text message Wednesday afternoon that they were still planning to travel to Riverdale Academy in Coushatta, La., for a 7 p.m. game Friday.

Beau Pré Senior Club Championship

The Beau Pré Senior Club Championship has been postponed one week, according to the club’s website. The championship will now take place Sept. 8 and 9.

Copiah-Lincoln Community College

According to Co-Lin Director of Sports Information Natalie Davis, the Wolfpack’s season opener at Northeast Mississippi Community College is still on for tonight. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
