Wesley Rogers and Guy Hollingsworth also shot a 59 for a two-day total of 122 to finish in second place.

&uot;The pressure was on. The guys we played with played really good,&uot; Spring said. &uot;I knew it would take something real low to beat the guys behind us. We putted real well.&uot;

Spring and Davis had six birdies on the front nine and on the back nine.

&uot;Wesley and Guy put the pressure on us,&uot; Davis said.

Rogers said that he and Hollingsworth played good enough to win, but that Springs and Davis played better.

&uot;We played pretty good toady, but apparently not well enough. We started with an eagle on (hole) number one, but then made a few pars before going on the birdie train.

&uot;They (Spring and Davis) were just making everything,&uot; Rogers said.

Pete and Judy Powell shot a final-round 60 to finish in third place with a two-day score of 124.

&uot;We played pretty good today,&uot; Pete Powell said. &uot;Judy shot the ball well. We made some putts and we missed a few putts.&uot;

&uot;It was a good tournament,&uot; Cothren said. &uot;The course is in excellent shape. It’s in really good shape for next weekend’s City Championship.&uot;
