NATCHEZ — Services for Helen Elaine Hux, 87, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Paul McElroy officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hux was born July 14, 1925, in Brookhaven, the daughter of Isaac Delton Kyzar Sr. and Minnie Elizabeth King Kyzar. She was a member of 61 South Church of Christ.
Mrs. Hux was a local beautician for more than 40 years and a past member of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walton Eugene Hux; four brothers; and six sisters.
Survivors include one son, Ronald W. Hux of Natchez; one daughter, Cherry Daniels of Pearl; four granddaughters, Kendra Hurst of Pearl, Krissa Grant of Brandon, Amy Heffner and Ashley Keith, both of Bedford, Texas; six great-grandchildren, Kennon and Emilee Hurst, both of Wiggins, Jacob and Colton Grant, both Brandon, Emrie Lane Saner and Eli Heffner, both of Bedford; one sister, Minnie Madge Barnett of Summit; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be John Seyfarth Jr., Glenn Smith, Ken Daniels, Herman Merritt, Nathan Cobb and James Walker.
