Mr. and Mrs. William Harkness of Elverson, Pa., announce the engagement of their daughter Leslie Anne Harkness to Chase Allen Bradford, son of Dr. and Mrs. Craig A. Bradford of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, Pa., and Villanova University in Villanova, Pa. She is a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and is stationed at Marine Corps Air Station New River in Jacksonville, N.C. She is the granddaughter of the late Thomas Doyle and Mary Doyle of Downingtown, Pa., and Mr. and Mrs. John Harkness of Jacksonville, Fla.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and Mississippi State University in Starkville. He is also a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps stationed at Camp LeJeune in Jacksonville, N.C. He is the grandson of the late Andrew O. Prillaman and the late Barbara McNeely Prillaman of Mobile, Ala. He is also the grandson of the late R.S. “Buddy” McNeely of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at St. Agnes Church in West Chester, Pa.

A reception will follow at Columbia Station in Phoenixville, Pa.
