Trinity racks up offensive yards

EAST POINT, La. — Trinity Episcopal racked up 296 total yards of offense while its defense held Riverdale to 35 total offensive yards in a 20-0 win Friday night at Riverdale.
Chad Ridley completed four of 18 passes for 70 yards and one touchdown, a 12-yarder to Cole Brown late in the first quarter, ran for 80 yards on 13 carries and one touchdown, a 65-yard run in the second quarter, and intercepted two passes.
&uot;We had so many penalties in the second half that we couldn’t sustain a drive,&uot; said Trinity head coach David King. &uot;We had a bad week of practice because of the rain.&uot;
Trinity (2-0) hosts WCCA (0-2) next Friday.
