In the past 25 years since he and his father built the pier at the Lake St. John Boat Launch, Tom Bell, above, has witnessed very few times when the water level of Lake St. John has been as low as it has been this year. According to Bell, owner of the Lake St. John grocery and boat launch, the water level of the lake is about 3 feet lower than it should be at this time of year.
