MONTEREY — Services for Danielle Nicole Palmer, 19, of Monterey, who died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, in Monterey, will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at New Era Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Baker officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.
Miss Palmer was born April 3, 1993, in Baton Rouge, the daughter of Harry and Pauline Palmer. She was a graduate of Monterey High School and was attending Louisiana State University, majoring in mass communication.
She was a member of New Era Baptist Church.
Danielle was preceded in death by two sisters, Kristi Palmer and Jaqueline Dean Etheridge; maternal grandfather, Curtis Greene; and paternal grandparents, Jewel Dewey and Evelyn Palmer.
Survivors include her parents of Monterey; two brothers, Harry “Denny” Palmer Jr. and wife, Amber, of Gonzales, La., and Christopher Lee Palmer of Livonia, La.; maternal grandmother, Valda Greene of Monterey; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; and her best friends, Tara Peavy, Anna Cross and Meghan Bergeron.
Pallbearers will be Ray Lee Palmer, Denny Palmer, Mike Cook, Cody Welch, Robbie Welch and Jacob Evans.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Monterey High School class of 2011.
