Trinity Saints, Vidalia girls continue their winning ways

BOGALUSA, La. – Trinity earned a pair of MPSA District 5-1A wins Tuesday over Ben’s Ford.
In the boys game, the Saints lit up the scoreboard to take Ben’s Ford 95-81.
Chad Ridley led the Saints (15-3, 8-0) with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Mike Lickliter also notched a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Greg Ketchings added 22 points and Chase Brown chipped in 18.
The Lady Saints (20-3, 8-0) easily dispatched Ben’s Ford 87-41.
Sara Greer posted a triple-double with 23 points, 13 assists and 10 steals. Ashley Kingsafer had 17 points and 15 rebounds, Lauren Tanner had 11 points and 12 rebounds and Vanessa Gordon scored 15 points.
Lady Vikings 84, Lady Bears 62
The Vidalia Lady Vikings defeated the Block Lady Bears 84-62 Tuesday night in a District 3-2A game at Jonesville.
Natalie McGraw scored a game-high 31 points and Brendy Ellis added 23 points for Vidalia (22-4, 3-0).
For Block (14-8, 0-2), Shaterrica Savage led four players in double figures with 17 points. Dani McMillan had 14 points, Brittany Brown had 13 points and Michanda Gilmore had 12 points.
