Police are seeking the community’s help in solving a Saturday purse snatching.

At about 8:37 p.m., a 30-year-old female was walking into Natchez Market I from the parking lot near La Fiesta Grande restaurant, on John R. Junkin Drive when a green Pontiac Grand Am drove up occupied by two white males, said Natchez Police Chief Willie Huff.

The passenger of the vehicle jumped out of the car and snatched the victim’s purse before jumping back into the car, Huff said.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Miss-Lou Crime Stoppers at 442-5000. A cash reward could be available and all calls are anonymous.
