The Adams County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Summit resident Friday in connection with a &uot;neighborhood brawl&uot; in the Cloverdale area.

Darrell Cortez Smith, 21, was charged with aggravated assault. He was being held on a $25,000 bond Sunday at the Adams County Jail. Adams County Sheriff Tommy Ferrell said the dispute was probably drug related and took place over a month ago.

&uot;There were several people involved,&uot; in the dispute which involved the use of crowbars and other such devices as weapons, Ferrell said.

Other suspects have also been charged in the incident, with Smith being the last arrested because he lived out of town, Ferrell said.
