Two Adams County brothers charged in connection with the Jan. 15 murder of a Woodville resident were arraigned Tuesday afternoon in Adams County Justice Court. Judge Danny Barber kept bond at $500,000 cash for both Aldrick Minor and Liondell Minor, who are being held at the Adams County Jail, and set their preliminary hearings for Feb. 20.

Adams County sheriff’s deputies on Thursday arrested Aldrick Minor, 20, of 99 Old Meadow Road, and charged him with murder for allegedly shooting Anna Loftin Blank, 27. His brother, Liondell Minor, 21, of 99 Old Meadow Road, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

Aldrich Minor, dressed in an orange-and-white prison jumpsuit with his hands and feet shackled, was calm as several deputies led him into the courtroom. He only answered &uot;yes, sir&uot;&160;when asked by Barber if he understood the charges he faces. Barber appointed Scott Pintard as Aldrich Minor’s attorney.

Following his brother’s arraignment, Liondell Minor was led into the courtroom, rattling his handcuffs as he went.

He fidgeted while answering Barber’s questions and insisted that deputies unlock the handcuff on his right hand so he could sign papers asking for George F. West Jr. to be appointed by the court as his attorney.

Deputies discovered Blank’s body Monday morning in a parked car on East Wilderness Road between Southmoor Drive and Anderson Drive. She had been shot twice in the head, once in the forehead and once in the left side of the head. Blank is believed to have died shortly after 1 a.m. Jan. 15, six hours before deputies arrived on the scene.

Adams County Sheriff Tommy Ferrell has declined to give specifics on the murder except to say it was drug related. Ferrell said deputies suspect Liondell Minor drove the &uot;getaway vehicle&uot; following the shooting.
