NATCHEZ — This weekend should be hot and sunny, according the National Weather Service. Luckily, there’s a few indoor entertainment options in the Miss-Lou.

The Markets Food & Lifestyle Show

The Markets will host the 14th annual Food & Lifestyle Show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Vidalia Convention Center.

The show will consist of food samples, new items and different entertainment.

Door prizes will be given, as well as a grand prize of $2,600 gift card from The Markets.

Two tickets are free with the purchase of $25 worth of groceries at any of the local markets or $5 each at the door.

Friday Forum

This week, the Friday Forum sponsored by the Natchez-Adams County Chamber of Commerce, will feature “Libraries-More than just books- with Armstrong Library, Alcorn and Copiah-Lincoln.”

The Friday Forum will be at the Natchez Coffee Company at 8 a.m. Friday.

Fun Day

Southwood Lodge Baptist Church, on Adams Road, will host a fun day at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Activities will include prayer, water space jump, games and food.

The event is free and open to the public.
