JONESVILLE — Services for Brittany Nicole White, 14, of Jonesville, who died Saturday, July 28, 2012, in the Sandy Lake community, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Jonesville with the Rev. James Foster officiating.

Burial will follow at Pala Alto Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home in Jonesville.

Brittany was born Dec. 2, 1997, in Alexandria, La., the daughter of Amy Creel and Larry White. She was a student at Block High School, a member of the student council and an honor student.

Brittany was a member of First Baptist Church in Jonesville where she was very active. She was baptized at Utility Baptist Church.

Brittany had a larger-than-life personality and she would light up a room when she walked in. She was loved dearly by everyone and will be greatly missed.

Brittany was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparent, Odie and Amy Fisher; paternal great-grandparents, B.B. and Molly Beard; paternal great-grandparents, Herman and Effie White; one uncle, Broc Creel; and stepfather, Lee Edwards.

Survivors include her mother of Jonesville; her father, Larry White of Jonesville; one brother, Slayter White; maternal grandparents, Brenda Parker and husband, Kelly, of Bossier, La., and Kent Creel of Enterprise, La.; paternal grandparents, Gay Knapp and husband, Melvin, and H.C. White, all of Monterey; maternal great-grandparents, Alden and Vyrie Creel of Enterprise; three uncles, Brian Creel, Brad Creel and Cindy, and Brent Creel and Stacey; three aunts, Gayla McMillin and David, Wanda and Joe D’Antonio and Shannon Bairnsfather and Jeff; a number of cousins; and special friends, Macy Wiley and Sonya Hailey.

Pallbearers will be Clint Edwards, Brock Miller, Kirk Bairnsfather, Matt Walker, Ryan Edwards, Ryan Hamilton and Tyson Rodman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Slayter White, Avery McMillin, Brad, Brent and Brian, Chase McMillin, Tyler Thomas, Daniel Griffin, Drew D’Antonio and Preston Creel.
