NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Arthur Felton, 66, of Natchez, who died Thursday, July 19, 2012, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall on D’Evereux Drive.

Arrangements are under the direction of Jackson Memorial Funeral Service in Jackson.

Mr. Felton was born Sept. 24, 1945, in Fayette, the son of Clark Felton Sr. and Gertrude Felton. He attended Liddell High School in Fayette.

Mr. Felton had more than 40 years of truck driving experience and retired from Mississippi Materials Company in 2008.

Mr. Felton was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Annie Banks, Eloise Hamilton, Clark Felton Jr. and Dorothy Tenner.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Cora Felton; five children, Cora Loushelle Washington and husband, Gerry, Cheryl Cassandra Felton, Carol Tawana Jackson and husband, Ronald, Arthur Cornelius Felton and wife, Tasha, and Brian Jason Byars and wife, Rebecca; seven grandchildren; one sister, Geraldine Felton-Doss and husband, Willie, of Fayette; five brothers, MC Felton, Curtis Felton, both of Prentiss, Edward Felton and wife, Elaine, of Fayette, Burnell Felton and wife, Jean, of West Memphis, Ark., and Michael Felton of Jackson; three aunts, Jessie Mae Craft, Beatrice Thomas and Ruby Chaney, all of New Orleans; 12 sisters-in-law; 12 brothers-in-law; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
