NATCHEZ — Services for Charles Milton Young Sr., 84, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Pentecostal of Miss-Lou with the Rev. Gary Howington officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Mr. Young was born June 25, 1928, in Arkansas, the son of Larry H. Young and Edna B. Young. He was retired from Natchez Equipment Company and a member of the Pentecostals of Miss-Lou.
Mr. Young was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Willodine Young; and two brothers, L.H. Young and Diamond Young.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Eva L. Young; three sons, Milton Young Jr. and wife, Carrie, of Monticello, Dusty Young and wife, Paula, of Ponchatoula, La., and Greg Young of Vidalia; one daughter, Bonita Kaiser and husband, Andy, of Natchez; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Monk of Monticello.
Pallbearers will be Bubba Young, Michael Young, Dustin Young, Chris Young, Billy Young and Andrew Kaiser.
Honorary pallbearers will be former co-workers of Natchez Equipment Company.
