MEADVILLE — Services for Catherine Myers Wactor, 86, of Meadville, who died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at her residence, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.

Mrs. Wactor was born March 24, 1924, in Webster County, the daughter of Joseph Myers and Rosie Grissom Myers. She was a homemaker and a member of Elmo Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray Earl Wactor; three brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include one son, Lenox Wactor and wife, Debra, of Meadville; four sisters, Louise Scott of Huntsville, Ala., Emmie Malone, Norma Clardy and Minrose Matthews, all of West Point; one granddaughter, Ashley Yelverton and husband, Lee, of Meadville; two great-grandchildren, Austin Cupit and Adriana Yelverton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
