VIDALIA — Concordia Parish fire officials battled two structure fires on Hammett Addition Thursday night.

Two uninhabited structures were full engulfed in flames, and firemen were working to make sure the fire doesn’t spread to a nearby trailer.

One of the structures is the former Murray Grocery. The other was a house.

Emergency personnel were called to the scene when several firefighters overheated.
