The weather was unkind to area teams last night. Both Natchez squads, the 14-year-old Dixie Boys All-Stars and the 13-year-old All-Stars, fell victim to the thunderstorms.

The 13-year-olds got through one inning of action in their championship game at Summit. The game will resume in the second inning at 7 p.m. The squad placed fourth in last year’s Dixie Boys Worlds Series.

The 14-year olds didn’t even get started, as the rains came minutes before game time. The 14-year-olds play Summit for the right to go to the state tournament in Koscuisko.
