Man dies following four-wheeler accident

A Baton Rouge resident injured in a four-wheeler accident in Adams County this month died Wednesday.
Julius Manuel, 53 died at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge as a result of head injuries he received during the accident, said Adams County Coroner James Lee.
Manuel had been riding his four-wheeler behind another four-wheeler driven by his friend, L.J. Gonzales, 54, of Hammond, La.
While riding on Springfield Road, Gonzales stopped his four-wheeler suddenly causing Manuel to run into the back of him. Gonzales was treated and released from Natchez Community Hospital after the accident.
Manuel is the third four-wheeler fatality in the Miss-Lou since January.
&uot;I’m just almost terrified by the number of four-wheeler accidents … we have had in the past year,&uot; Lee said.
