Natchez-Adams Economic and Community Development Authority board members met Wednesday without reaching a decision on selecting a new director.
Two candidates are under consideration, chosen from five selected through a search by a consultant.
The board met with the two finalists for long, in-depth interviews on Tuesday.
However, members were unable to make contact with some key references by phone Tuesday night, said board chairman Woody Allen.
&uot; The board felt that it would be important to reach these people and get the information we need before we make a decision,&uot; Allen said.
The board will meet again Monday to review information gathered between now and then, he said.
