Natchez High School athletes Kedrick Gibbons, 10th grade, left, and Darius Edwards, 11th grade placed in the National Junior Olympics in Sacramento, Calif., on July 25-29. Gibbons placed third in the nation in the long jump and sixth in the nation in the triple jump, and Edwards placed sixth in the nation in the 400-meter hurdles.
