NATCHEZ — Trinity Episcopal Day School will be sponsoring a blood drive on Wednesday in support of two of its students involved in a Jan. 1 wreck on Canal Street — Dylan Pressgrove and Matthew Rymer, whose legal name is Charles M. Fos.
Starting at 8 a.m., the blood drive, under the direction of Mississippi Blood Services, will last until 3 p.m.
“We’re doing this in honor of Dylan and Matthew. I know one of the boys has already had to have blood, and we are just doing this to help them and replenish the blood supply,” Trinity high school secretary Janice Myers said. “We’re doing it in the boys’ names in case they need (the blood), but in case they don’t, it will go statewide.”
Mississippi Blood Services’ Marketing Representative Tasha Rowe said the company will be equipped for approximately 100 people to donate.
Myers said interested donors should call her at the high school at 601-442-5424 and reserve a time to donate their blood.
