LAUREL — Services for Richard “Bo” Brown, 63, of Laurel, who died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at South Central Regional Medical Center will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel.
Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery in Wayne County.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown was born in Newelton, La., the son of Whitfield Brown and Doris Prunty.
Words cannot express how much Mr. Brown will be missed by family and friends. Mr. Brown worked for Cameron Corporation for more than 30 years. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and will be remembered most as an avid hunter and baseball player.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Leroy Prunty; and daughter, Kimberly Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Langley Brown; son, Micheal Brown; daughters, Katheryn and Lacy Brown; sisters, Donna Wilson and husband, Bruce, and Margaret Nicholson and husband, James.
Pallbearers will be Micheal Brown, Scott Parish, Freddie Welch, John Widener, Glen Anderson and Leonard West.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Doug Newman and Sammy Wimberly.
