Natchez — A local house was featured in a New York Times article comparing housing costs across the country.

The article examined available housing priced at approximately $250,000.

The local property featured, a State Street residence, is listed for $249,000. Built in 1852, the two-bedroom, two-bath town house also has a downstairs that is currently used as a law office. The house was remodeled in 2006.
