ROXIE — Services for Mary Opal McKinney, 91, of Meadville, who died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Meadville Convalescent Home, will be at 11 a.m. today at Hamburg Baptist Church in Roxie.
Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in the Hamburg community at Roxie.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mrs. McKinney was born Dec. 7, 1920, in Skeen, the daughter of Virgil and Carrie Freeman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Phillip McKinney; an infant son, James Patrick McKinney; son, Phil McKinney; one sister, Bessie Ruth Hester; and two brothers, Virgil Jr. and J.D. Freeman.
Survivors include two sons, Robert “Bud” McKinney and wife, Gail, and Danny R. McKinney; three granddaughters, Twila and Kimberlea McKinney and Tonya Clary; two grandsons, Dan and Dale McKinney; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
