Don and Lynn Hicks of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Lacie Hicks to Matthew Boykin, son of Sammy and Shelia Etheridge of Crosby and Frank K. Boykin Jr. of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and is attending Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez. She is employed by McKenzie’s Popcorn in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of Winfred and Jeanette Hicks and the late Thomas and Ruth Tyson, all of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Wilkinson County Christian Academy in Woodville and is a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez. He is employed by Wilk-Amite Heating and Cooling in Woodville.

He is the grandson of Frances Wisner and the late Ernest Felter of Crosby and Dianne Boykin and the late Frank K. Boykin Sr. of Centreville.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Morgantown Baptist Church in Natchez.

A reception will follow at the Natchez Shrine Club.
