Fund established for accident victims

NATCHEZ — A fund has been established at United Mississippi Bank for the two Trinity Episcopal Day School students who remain hospitalized after a one-vehicle accident New Year’s Day on Canal Street.

Donations to the Unity for Strength fund will assist Dylan Pressgrove, 17, and Matthew Rymer, 18, whose legal name is Charles M. Fos.

Rymer is paralyzed from his shoulders down and being treated at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge. Pressgrove remains hospitalized at University Medical Center in Jackson.

Donations can either be mailed or deposited at any UMB branch, said Tony Scudiero, whose daughter Jennifer, 18, was injured in the accident.

Jennifer and two other Trinity students, Deacon Newman, 18, and Cody Strickland, 17, were sent to hospitals and later released.
