BUDE — Services for Thomas James “Nab” Gills aka Tommy Ratcliff, 59, of Bude, who died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at his residence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Little Rock African Methodist Church in Bude.

Burial will follow at Meadville/New Fork Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Gills was born Feb. 11, 1953, in Adams County, the son of Leroy Ratcliff and Lessie Mae Gills. He was a retired laborer from Franklin County Timber Company.

He was preceded in death by one brother, William Davis “Tall Man” Gills Jr.; two aunts, Ella Mae Jones and Essie Mae Jenkins; and one uncle, Elbert Griffins.

Survivors include four sisters, Annie Laura Gills, JoAnn McNair, Violet Gills, all of Bude and Debra Sue Gills of Brookhaven; three brothers, Charles Lee Gills of Las Vegas, Lawrence Ratcliff and Rowan Gills, both of Bude; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
