METAIRIE, La. — Services for Evelyn Bridges LeTard, 91, who died Monday, June 25, 2012, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home in Metairie, La.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

A second service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Osyka Baptist Church in Osyka.

Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Kentwood, La., under the direction of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home.

Mrs. LeTard was born May 20, 1921, in Osyka. She received a bachelor of science in home economics in 1942 from Mississippi State College for Women (MSCW, now known as the “W.”) She was an active member until her death and served on the boards of Ochsner Health System Archives Advisory Committee, Orleans Medical Society Alliance, Ochsner Hospitality Club and was founding member of the L&E Investment Club.

Mrs. LeTard was preceded in death by her husband, Francis X. LeTard, M.D.

Survivors include one daughter, Denise LeTard Henneke and husband, Frederick; three sons, Frank LeTard Jr., M.D., and wife, Judy, Philip LeTard Sr., J.D., and wife, Angela, and Tommy LeTard M.D., and wife, Martha; 13 grandchildren, Mollie Casey, Dorothy Casey, Tres LeTard and wife, Andrea, Renee LeTard Harelson and husband, Alex, Kayla LeTard, Rose LeTard Farmer, Philip LeTard Jr., Matthew LeTard, Alexandra LeTard, Rachel LeTard, Peyton LeTard, Collin LeTard and Meghan LeTard; one great-granddaughter, Zoee C. Evelyn LeTard; and devoted friend and best buddy, Manuel “Moe” O. Guess.

Evelyn was a devoted wife of 54 years, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be truly missed by her family and countless friends.
