Valarie C. Richardson of Natchez and Karl E. and Sandral Richardson of New Orleans announce the engagement of their daughter, Donnika Danshai Chatman to Alonzo Deon Queen, son of Marcus Buie and Constance Buie of Fayette and the late Tommie Grayson.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School.

She is the granddaughter of Doretha C. Holmes, Mary Bass and the late Cornelius Bass of Natchez and the late Arthur James Richardson.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Jefferson County High School in Fayette.

He is the grandson of Hezekiah Queen and Ethel Queen of Fayette and Gertude Grayson and the late Jesse Grayson of Fayette.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Harvest Baptist Church in Ferriday.

A reception will follow at the Ferriday Community Center on Highway 15.
