W.W. &uot;Woody&uot; Allen Jr., front, and Michael Ferdinand continue to work closely with other economic development officials and volunteers to bring new business and industry to Natchez. Allen is chairman of the five-person board of the Natchez Adams Economic and Development Authority. Ferdinand is executive director of the EDA. Both concede that tough times linger since Sept. 11, 2001.
